Lander Medical Clinic and Western Family Care together are a locally owned, multispecialty group practice. Monthly meetings for anyone who is dealing with, supporting someone with or has an interest in Parkinson's Disease. There is also a weekly Power Punch Boxing class that is held weekly. This is a non-contact form of boxing, especially created for People with Parkinson's (PwP), and they are encouraged to bring along one CarePartner to the FREE classes. All equipment is also provided at no cost to the participants.

The overall goals of the program are to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with occupational coal dust exposure by promoting maximum functionality of our patients’ cardiopulmonary health, improving patient compliance with doctor’s recommendations and safety regulations, decreasing prevalence of Black Lung cases, and improving quality of life for miners.

Family Medicine health clinic offering, gynecology, well baby and child exams, geriatric/adult care, chronic disease management, women's health exams, osteopathic manipulation, laboratory services, birth control, physical examinations, school and sports exams, behavioral health services, wound care, clinical social work/case management, medication review, education on chronic disease states (diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.) with clinical pharmacist.

We have two outpatient clinics, one located in Arapahoe and one located in Ft. Washakie. Inpatient care is covered by a close working relationship with the excellent community hospitals in nearby Lander, Wyoming that has an 83-bed hospital, fully staffed inpatient psychiatric hospital and also Central Wyoming Rehabilitation Unit and Riverton Memorial Hospital has a fully staffed 70-bed hospital.

PAR provides programs and services that give a patient the tools they need to ease Parkinson related symptoms. Whether it be a zoom call with a case manager in the comfort of one's home, educational webinars or support groups, PAR's resources help ease the burden of the disease. Our Information and Referral Helpline can provide local resources and general information about Parkinson Disease and give recommendations for care.
