At Bright Futures After School, mentors join a dynamic group of 5th graders at the Park County Library twice a month for enriching after school activities. Each event includes crafts, games, movement, meditation, informative speakers, character building, small group conversations over pizza. Mentoring relationships develop organically rather than through assigned matches. After School provides opportunities to connect, find purpose and develop self-worth.

We provide Home Care services in Sheridan, Johnson, & Campbell Counties. We help people in our communities with daily living tasks (like cooking, housekeeping, showering, medication reminders, dressing, running errands, appointments, etc.) so everyone can live a longer, fuller life in their own home. We can also assist with home care following surgeries, provide respite care for family caregivers who need a break, or just provide an occasional drop-in service to ensure everything is going well.

At Bright Futures One-to-One, each mentor is matched with a designated K-12 student for the school year. Mentors join these students at their schools once a month to spend time together over lunch. Develop self-confidence and community engagement by logging hours in voluntary public service, physical fitness, personal development and exploration. Participants need a trusted adult as an advisor. WCAC staff can train/assist all advisors, parents and participants with questions. For more info see congressionalaward.org.
