Parents as Teachers is an evidence-based, parenting support program for families who are expecting, or have children up to the age of 5. Our program believes that parents are their child's first and most important teacher, and our certified Parent Educators are here to provide comprehensive, family-driven support to help families to be successful.

Mercer Family Resource Center offers this program designed to bring families together and create an environment with lots of love, but very definite limits. Research has shown this program to be a protective factor against substance abuse, aggression, and failure in school.

It is our goal to come together as a state to assist families who are struggling due to the financial and emotional burdens that are caused by having a premature infant getting care out of state. Neighbors helping Neighbors is Wyoming's way. We have held several fundraisers, created an website and are in the process of creating an app. We have already been able to provide financial, in kind and emotional support to several families in the state.

The program is free to income eligible families with children ages 3 and 4 years of age .Head Start offers the following services: preschool education, child health (physical, dental and mental health) and development, nutrition, social and emotional development and parent, family, and community engagement.

Our continuum of care covers a wide variety of mental health services, from group therapy to psychosocial rehabilitation, which aims to help clients with serious and persistent mental illness find meaningful employment or community activities with a focus on independent living skills.

Serves and supports children with and without disabilities by fostering communication, cooperation, and education among parents, professionals, and educators. Provides one-on-one support and training for parents, along with training and resources for professionals and educators. Helps families become more actively involved in their children’s learning and development, and supports them in accessing better programs and services through education, guidance, and referrals.

The Arc of Laramie County provides the following: Advocacy, Educational Training, Social Skills Classes, Community Outreach, Parent Support Groups, Youth Services, Guardianship Training, Referrals, Assistance with filling out forms for Housing, SSI, Food Stamps, Transportation, Waiver, etc. Social Inclusion Activities include: Weekly In-person events, adaptive bowling league, Holiday Party, Virtual Events, Social Skills Classes for Young Adults, The Governor's Christmas Tree Lighting and more.

The Center provides holistic legal representation to Wyoming children or vulnerable adults and their families, children's policy advocacy, and non-legal alternatives to resolve legal problems involving children. Legal services are offered statewide for situations that impact the health, education, safety or well-being of a child or vulnerable adult.

Families Count is a six-week parenting class and mentoring program offered through local churches to assist at-risk parents who are working to achieve permanency with their families. The vision of the Reclaimed Three Eighteen Ministry is to be salt and light to our local foster community by being the hands and feet of Jesus to those involved. Our goal is to mobilize the local faith community to prepare, support, and help lighten the burden of foster families, biological families, and agency workers so that they are better equipped to love and care for the families involved in foster care in our community.

Our dedicated PEEPS team works daily to bring families, educators, and community partners together to support academic success and the healthy development of all students. We do this by building relationships and identifying opportunities to connect and inspire families as partners.
